I've only used mine three times so far but I have waist length hair and it has done a brilliant job! I used it with caution the first time but as long as I use small sections of hair it worked great. The curls did flattened a little as the day wore on but I still had waves by the end of a long day at a wedding, out in the heat, and without the use of hairspray.
